You are here: Home / Correcting Inborn Errors of Metabolism

Many people are born with small differences in how they process chemicals in the body.  These “little glitches” are technically called Inborn Errors of Metabolism. These errors can include vitamin deficiencies, low stomach acid, and other metabolic concerns that then lead to differences in processing medications, foods, and environmental toxins. These differences can contribute to treatment resistance and slow down recovery from depression, anxiety, and other mental and physical health concerns.

At The Neuroscience Center, we endeavor to treat the whole person.  As a result we investigate metabolic errors via pharmagenomic (DNA) testing to better guide treatment options and medication choices. We also recommend nutrition-based interventions  to facilitate more complete recovery from treatment resistant conditions.

If you have questions about these services,  please fill out our patient contact form and we will contact you for a free phone consultation.
