Job Description

In collaboration with the Medical & Nursing Staff, the Medical Technician (MedTech) will be directly involved with assisting infusions, injections, and phlebotomy in furtherance of the treatment plan.

At TNC our unique partnership with MIND, PathFinder Brain SPECT Imaging and the Hyperbaric Centers of Chicago (all located in the same building) allows us to offer our patients a variety of elaborate diagnosis and treatment options. We are dedicated to the effective diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of complex Neuropsychiatric Illnesses and related disorders of adults and children.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in procedure room for brain stimulation and sedation protocols
• Assist with clinical laboratory (collect and process blood etc)
• Assist other sub-clinics
• Work with and at the direction of the medical & nursing personnel
• Maintain patient care areas and assist with inventory control

Shifts

Part Time: Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday – all day

Qualifications

• 18 years and older
• Good physical/mental health
• Strong attention to detail/ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Fully trained as a MedTech or LPN or RN
• Sensitivity to the needs of mental hygiene patients’
• Ability to prioritize and take direction
• Comfortable with and willing to assist with front desk operations
