Front Desk Staff at Deerfield Medical Office

You’ll work closely with our whole team, including the clinic’s medical director, nurses, paramedics, and office staff.  This is a fast-paced office requiring multitasking and attention to detail.

If we’re a good fit after a couple months, we’ll ask you to join us permanently.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to Medical Director
• Welcome patients and visitors
• Answer phones, route calls, and return calls
• Respond to emails
• Schedule patients
• Keep patient records
• Perform billing
• Order medication and supplies
• Maintain office space
• Serve as contact person for vendors

Skills and Personal Attributes

• Ability to work independently
• Dedicated and hardworking
• Very organized with good follow-through and attention to detail
• Professional appearance and manner
• Able to manage multiple tasks and demands without anxiety
• Able to operate independently and ask for help appropriately when needed
• Willingness to “fill in” for what is needed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of Google Docs
